It is assessed on how the business trades, using its turnover and cash flow. Directors or owners may be asked to provide a personal guarantee. ### Who can apply for a Yield business loan? Australian businesses with an active ABN, a trading history and regular turnover through a business bank account. Companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders can apply. Minimum requirements are confirmed when you apply. ### Do I need property as security? No property security is required for unsecured business loans. Equipment finance is secured by the equipment. ### What can the funds be used for? Business purposes only, such as working capital, stock and inventory, equipment and fit-out, and growth. Yield Capital Investors does not lend for personal, household or domestic purposes. ### How are the costs shown? If approved, you receive a written offer setting out the amount, interest rate, all fees and the repayment schedule before you accept. ### Who can invest with Yield Capital Investors? Wholesale clients only, as defined in section 761G of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). This generally includes investors with a qualified accountant's certificate confirming net assets of at least $2.5 million or gross income of at least $250,000 in each of the last two financial years, investments of $500,000 or more, and professional investors. ### What investment products does Yield offer? Income-focused products for wholesale investors: private credit funds, direct loans, lending to listed companies, high-yield property funds, equity income funds, infrastructure and energy income, an equipment and asset finance pool, and a distressed credit fund. Each product is offered only through its own offer documents. ### Where does the income come from? From what the underlying assets earn: interest paid by borrowers, rent paid by tenants and dividends paid by companies. Income and returns are not guaranteed. ### Can I invest in a single loan or property? Yes. Direct loans let wholesale investors choose an individual loan secured against one project or one property, after reviewing an information memorandum setting out the security, borrower, loan-to-value ratio, term, rate payable to investors, fees and exit. ### What are the risks? All investments carry risk. Borrowers can default, tenants can leave, dividends can be cut and asset values can fall, so income may be reduced or delayed and capital can be lost. Higher income generally comes with higher risk. ### How do I register interest? Complete the expression of interest form on the Investors page or email investing@yield.com.au. Registering does not commit you to invest. ### What does Yield Capital Investors lend for? Business-purpose loans to Australian borrowers with an ABN: construction finance for residential developments, unsecured business loans and lines of credit, asset and equipment finance (secured by equipment, vehicles or other business assets), and loans secured by commercial or investment property, including bridging. ### Does Yield provide home loans or personal loans? No. Yield Capital Investors does not provide home loans or consumer credit. All lending is for business purposes, to borrowers with an ABN. ### What does Yield assess on a construction loan? The development approval and conditions, the builder and build contract, the cost plan, the end values and the exit, whether by sale or refinance. Progress payments are released against verified stages of the build. ### Does Yield offer equipment and asset finance? Yes. Yield finances machinery, plant, trucks, construction and earthmoving equipment, technology, fit-out and business-use vehicles for businesses with an ABN, and provides asset-backed loans secured against equipment, vehicles, stock or receivables the business already owns. Terms are matched to the working life of the asset. ### How do I apply? Use the funding request form on this page. Only the type of finance, the amount, the purpose, your ABN and contact details are needed to start; your ABN fills in your business name. Borrowers deal with Yield directly. ## Compliance Yield Capital Investors Pty Ltd is a Corporate Authorised Representative (No. 001277558) under AFSL 338567. General information only.
